The second ACHIEVE Spring School of the Virological Society in Berlin will take place on 23rd and 24th March 2020. This year's event is being organised jointly with the German Research Platform for Zoonoses. The motto "learning from each other - growing together" is the main focus and the workshop will deal with the topic "professional development". Experts will share experiences and give tips: How to write the perfect paper? What makes a good application, where can I get financial support? The workshop deals with the highly topical subject of zoonoses, which is constantly presenting us with new challenges. You can find a current draft program here.
The program is aimed at doctoral students from the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine or life sciences and at postdocs. Places are limited in order to ensure optimal interaction between the participants and the guest speakers.
The participation of students at ACHIEVE Spring School is financed by a scholarship, which includes travel expenses as well as room and board. An application requires membership in the German Society of Virology and consists of a curriculum vitae, letter of motivation (maximum one page) and a letter of recommendation from a lecturer.
