Events

A major goal of the German Research Platform for Zoonoses is to foster interdisciplinary exchange and communication. The Zoonoses Platform therefore arranges the annual National Symposium on Zoonoses Research, which covers a wide range of topics concerning zoonotic disease research. Additionally, several topic-specific workshops as well as special events for the furtherance of early stage researchers such as the Junior Scientist Zoonoses Meeting (JSZM) are organized and offered every year.
These various events are amenable to all researchers working in the field of zoonotic diseases. The German Research Platform for Zoonoses encourages all of them to consider the participation in the events as unique opportunities to present their work, exchange knowledge, results and ideas, collaborate and thereby further research progress and efficiency. In particular young researchers are encouraged to participate and engage in this significant possibility of scientific networking early in the beginning of their individual scientific careers.

Announcements and programmes of the current workshops and symposia are provided here on the website of the German Research Platform for Zoonoses.
